Christopher Peter Meloni is an American actor and is famous for his roles in well-known television series 'Law & Order Special Victims Unit. Since his time at college Christopher Meloni has always been attracted to the world of acting. He pursued a degree in acting at University of Colorado at Boulder. His television characters are gaining him lots of recognition. It is no surprise that his characters have been able to capture people's attention with his characters who are on either side of the legal system. In his very first TV project, he played the role of a serial killer. Then, he played the character of an NYPD Investigator. He has been nominated multiple times for the prestigious Emmy Awards and the PRISM Awards for his tiny screen appearances. The most striking of his facial features is said to be his piercing blue eye that has allowed him to portray characters who have a rough, charismatic look. People's magazine listed him as one of the Sexiest Men Alive for 2006.
