The actress played Sandra Bullock alongside her in the film Murder by Numbers. Agnes Bruckner (born August 16 1985 ) is an American actress and former model. She started acting on television in the late 1990s, and has appeared in many movies, such as The Woods and Blue Car Murder by Numbers Blood and Chocolate. Bruckner started acting when she was 11 years old. Her appearances were on a couple of shows on television, including the daytime show The Bold and the Beautiful that aired in 1999. In the age group of 15, Bruckner got her first lead part in an independent production Blue Car (2002) in where she played the role of a student at high school who is involved in an affair with her teacher played by David Strathairn. Roger Ebert noted that Bruckner took on the difficult script with determination. Bruckner has received an Independent Spirit Award nomination for "Best Female Lead" for this part. She was raised by three sisters and one brother. Hungarian was her first language and she practiced it regularly to maintain her fluency. Bruckner was an actress from California in Hollywood being born of Hungarian parents as well as Russian mothers who had separated. The paternal grandparents of Bruckner were German. Her parents came together in Hungary and immigrated to the U.S. in 1984 through an asylum camp in Italy. She is the younger sister of two brothers and have two sisters.
